Accounts and Related Accounts Reporting Subject AreaAvailabilityThis subject area is available in all editions of Oracle CRM On Demand. Business PurposeThis subject area allows the reporting of the many-to-many relationship between accounts and related accounts. This subject area is almost identical to the account subject areas. The only difference is that it includes the related account dimension, which has a many-to-many relationship with the account record type. This subject area allows you to create reports that show all the related accounts for an account. Because this subject area represents the many-to-many relationship between accounts and related accounts, accounts that do not have an association with at least one related account cannot be reported using this subject area. The attributes that define the related account relationship that are available for reporting include the following:

Optimized Filtering FieldsThis subject area has fields that are optimized for reducing the query time when they are used in filters. Optimized fields end with the words Code or UTC. For example, the Account dimension has an Account Type field. There is also an Account Type Code field, which is the optimized version of the Account Type field. Similarly, there is a Last Call Date UTC field, which is the optimized version of the Last Call Date field. Using the optimized field in the filter generates faster queries.
