Directed Deductions

Directed Deductions is an allocation option for unit linked policies. These allocations are set-up from the Allocation link in the Left Navigation menu. Once configured, changes can be made to specific activities using the Activity Detail icon on the Activity screen or to all Directed Deductions from the Allocation link on the Left Navigation menu.

Note: After the directed deduction fund(s) have been depleted, partial surrenders will be allocated pro-rata against any remaining funds.

This allocation type is used with the Withdrawal and Partial Surrender activities. Funds must be specified in this allocation section in order for the Partial Surrender activity to process.
