Process of Synchronizing Your Data Between Oracle CRM On Demand and Your PIM

To begin synchronizing your data between Oracle CRM On Demand and your PIM, perform the following tasks:

  1. Confirm that Oracle CRM On Demand meets the system requirements. For more information on the supported PIM applications and versions, see Oracle CRM On Demand System Requirements.
  2. Download and install Oracle PIM Sync On Demand (the PIM Sync client). To download and use the PIM Sync client, you must have the Enable PIM Sync Access privilege in your user role. If you do not see the Oracle PIM Sync On Demand option available under Data & Integration Tools in My Setup, contact your company administrator. For more information, see Installing and Uninstalling Oracle PIM Sync On Demand.
  3. Configure the PIM Sync client settings, see Configuring PIM Sync Client Synchronization Settings.
  4. Define your PIM Sync client profile, see Configuring PIM Sync Client Synchronization Settings.
  5. Review how your synchronized data will be handled, see Reviewing the Synchronization Results.
  6. Perform your initial synchronization, see Running the Initial Synchronization with Oracle PIM Sync On Demand.
