Search for a Policy

The policy search feature allows the user to navigate through the policies in OIPA.  Search for policies by one field or a combination of fields on the Search screen.   If a policy name was assigned during creation, then it will be easier to find the policy during a search.    

 

Steps to Search for a Policy

  1. From the Main menu, select Policy | Search.  

  2. Enter the search criteria for the policy.  If the exact wording is not known, use the % (percent) sign as a wild card. The search results will display under the Policy Search window.

  3. Scroll through the search results to locate the policy, then select the Select Policy Button button next to that policy.

 

Note:  If the search results contain more than ten results, then only the first ten results will be displayed. Adjust the Maximum Results drop down box in the bottom right corner of the screen to display the additional search results.
