GeneratePDF

This activity is used to generate a policy-specific document. When the activity processes, click the Activity Detail icon to the left of the activity. The Activity Details window will open. A document link will be visible at the top of the window. Clicking that link will reveal the types of documents that can be viewed.     

 

This activity will only be available in the Add Activity list if it has been configured. If it is not available in the list then an active policy is open, then configuration does not exist and this activity will not be available.

 

Steps to Generate and View Documents

  1. Open an active policy.

  2. Click Add Activity to open the Activity window.

  3. Select GeneratePDF from the Activity drop down list.

  4. Enter an effective date.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click Activities on the Left Navigation menu.

  7. Click the lightning bolt icon on the Activity screen, next to the GeneratePDF activity. This will process the activity. 

  8. Click the Activity Details icon to the left of the activity. The Activity Details window will open. 

  9. Click the Document link. A specific document type link will appear. 

  10. Click the link for the document type. This will display the document. 

  11. Close the Activity Detail window when finished viewing the document.
