Delete a CopyBook

Steps to Delete a CopyBook

1. Navigate to the Global Rules Explorer navigation tree and open Business Rules | CopyBooks.

2. Scroll through the list of CopyBooks until you find the one you want to delete.

3. Open the CopyBook folder and check to see if there are any plan overrides.  If not, skip to step 8.

4. Open the Main Explorer and find the CopyBook override you want to delete.

5. Right-click on the CopyBook override XML file and select Check-out.

6. Open the XML Source pane and delete the CopyBook name from the code.

7. Return to the Global Rules Explorer.

8. Right-click on the CopyBook you want to delete and select Delete Rule.

If you do not remove the CopyBook override from the XML Source you will receive an error message when the transaction is compiled.
