Functions

In the Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) system functions are a type of rule that can be configured for other rules to use or they can be pre-defined and available for use.

There are two different types of functions that you will use:

1. Functions defined as rules that are created to support business events.

2. Pre-defined Java functions that can be used to help with creating calculations.
