The Tool bar is available directly under the menu bar and provides quick access to commonly used functionality. Shortcut buttons are only available when they apply to what you are currently configuring.

Create New Environment |
Create a new environment. You can also do this by right-clicking in the Main Explorer or Global Rules Explorer tabs. |

Save |
Saves changes to the configuration you are currently working with but does not save all open configuration changes. This doesn't write to the database. You must select Check-in to write to the database. |

Save All |
Saves and compiles all configuration changes. This doesn’t write to the database. You must select Check-in to write to the database. Important: Save All will save and compile any configuration that is open. |

Upload XML Schemas |
Allows you to upload rule XML schemas into the database directly through the Rules Palette interface. |

Cut |
Cut configuration. |

Copy |
Copy configuration.

Paste |
Paste configuration. |

Undo |
Undo configuration changes. |

Redo |
Redo configuration changes. |

Find |
Find term in configuration. |

Select in Explorer |
Locates the rule’s XML file in either the Main Explorer window or Global Rules Explorer window. You must be inside one of the Configuration Area panes in order for this feature to work. |

Data Dictionary |
Open Data Dictionary management. |

Clear Cache |
Clears the cache, restores the settings to default, deletes all settings and closes the application. |

Refresh |
Refreshes plan types and sub-folders. |
|
|
Panel Selector |
Lists all panes in Configuration Area. Use this drop down box to open a pane that you may not be able to see from the Configuration Area. |
