Data Dictionary Enforcement

You can configure the Rules Palette to enforce the use of the Data Dictionary through the DataDictionaryEnforcement business rule.  Configuration is done via XML.

Enforcement Options:

• No data dictionary enforcement.

• Enforce all fields and logged math variables.

• Enforce all fields and all math variables (non-logged).

Steps to Set Data Dictionary Enforcement

1. Locate the DataDictionaryEnforcement business rule in the Global Rules Explorer tab.  It can be found in the Business Rules | System folder.

2. Configure the DataDictionaryEnforcement business rule.

3. Select Check-In from the right-click menu to save your changes to the database.
