Identifying Source and Target Environments
Before you can move information between databases you need to identify the source (originating) environment and the target environment. This is done by inserting the release management information into the environment properties window in the Rules Palette. You can access this window when you right-click on the environment node in the Main Explorer or Global Rules Explorer tab.

Steps to Identify Source Environment
Right-click on the environment node in either the Main Explorer or Global Explorer tab.
Select Properties.
Scroll down to the IVS Release Management fields.
Type the following text into each property field. Click Save and Close after each property.
IVS Release Management: Type on.
IVS Release Management Environment Env: Type true.

Click Finish to close the properties window.
Steps to Identify Target Environment

Select Properties.
Scroll down to the IVS Release Management fields.
Type the following text into each property field. Click Save and Close after each property.
