Withholding Overview

Withholdings are specific amounts or percentages that can be held for disbursements that are subject to taxes.  Withholding only applies to Variable Annuity policies.  

The Oracle Insurance Policy Administration system (OIPA) handles withholding in several ways.  You can configure withholding to capture withholding values at the policy level or at the activity level.  You may also set plan level withholding value defaults.
