The Issue activity moves a policy from pending status to active status. You must have the base coverage segment, the coverage calculation activity and the premium activity processed on the policy before you can add this activity.
To add this activity, open the term policy you are working with and select Add Activity from the secondary menu.
Select Issue from the activity drop down box. Then enter the effective date and select OK.
The activity will be listed on the Activity screen with a lightning bolt icon next to it. When you click the lightning bolt icon the activity will process. You will notice that the policy status now displays as active.
Three activities are spawned once Issue is processed. They are COIPayment, BillingStart and Anniversary. These activities are system generated.
