Flat Extra

If an individual does not meet health or other qualifications, insurance can be rated. The flat extra premium method of rating the life insurance policy charges an extra flat dollar amount per $1,000 of policy value.

You can add a flat extra segment to a policy by selecting Add Segments on the Secondary menu.  

Note:  You must have a base coverage segment already applied to the policy before you add the flat extra.
