Edit a Policy

If you need to update policy details, you must reverse all activities associated with the policy.  You can then go back into the policy details and make changes to the information.  You will then need to reapply the activities to the policy.

For term policies, you can edit the effective date, issue date and app. signed date through the EditPolicy activity.  

Steps to Apply EditPolicy Activity

1. Open the term policy you need to edit.

2. Click Add Activity on the Secondary menu.

3. Select EditPolicy from the drop down box.

4. Enter the new dates in the appropriate date field and select OK.

5. Click Activities on the left navigation menu.  You will see the EditPolicy activity listed on the Activities screen.

6. Click the lightning bolt icon next to the activity.  Your changes will be applied to the policy.
