Clients

Clients are individuals or entities that are associated with a policy.  Once an individual or entity such as a company is entered into OIPA as a client, that client can then be assigned specific roles on policies.  After creating a new client, you will enter the Client Detail and all the applicable Addresses.  

 

Note:  You must enter the Client Detail prior to entering address information.

 

Steps to Create a New Client

  1. From the Main Menu, select CLIENT | New from the drop down menu.  The Client screen will appear.

  1. Select the type of client from the Type combo-box.  Your Client screen will change depending on the type of client you want to enter.  Only the fields that pertain to that specific client type will display.

  2. Enter the Client Detail information.  If you leave required information blank you will be prompted with an error message.

  3. Select Save from the bottom of the screen when you are finished.  

 

 

Note:  Once a client is created, that client cannot be deleted.
