Master Data Administration Console Online Help

View and edit master data types


Master data types specify the structure of master data entries. You add information about real entities in a supply chain to master data entries. But you can only add information according to the types defined in the master data type.

To display a list of all existing master data types:

  1. In the left pane of the Console, click or expand Master Data Types.

    If you click Master Data Types, the Master Data Types page is displayed, which lists the names, IDs, and descriptions of all defined master data types. Click a name to view or edit details about the master data type.

    If you expand Master Data Types, a simple list of existing master data types is displayed. Click a name to view or edit details about that master data type.
  2. Click the name of the master data type you want to view or edit.
  3. On the Master Data Type Details page, edit the details of the master data entry. For more information, see Configuration Options
