Master Data Administration Console Home Page
This page provides access to all the features of the WebLogic RFID Master Data Administration Console, which is part of the BEA WebLogic RFID Enterprise Server. Use the console to create, edit, clone, and delete master data types and master data entries, which provide the context for for interpreting RFID event data.
An example of master data is "Location L refers to the distribution center located at 123 Elm Street, Anytown, US." Master data does not come from the edge; it is created and maintained through the Master Data Administration Console, which is provided with WebLogic RFID Enterprise Server. Master data does not generally grow merely because more business is transacted; it is not typically tied to specific moments in time, and it provides interpretation for elements of event data. Use the Master Data Administration tree on the left side of the page to ...
- Click Master Data Types to display the Master Data Types page, which lists all the defined types, including their IDs and descriptions. On that page, you can select a type to modify it or create a new type.
- Expand the Master Data Types node to display a list of already defined master data types. Then click any listed master data type to view or modify it.
- Click Master Data Entries to display the Master Data Entries Summary page. That page lists the number of master data etnries that exist for each master data type, with links to those master data entries.
Expand the Master Data Entries node to display a list of the defined master data types. Click any of the listed master data types to display a page with all the master data entries based on that type.
