Read tags

This testing feature reads real-time tag data from any configured logical reader for a selected Edge Server and displays the results in the Administration Console.

To read tag data:

In the right pane of the Console, select the Read Tags tab.
Select an Edge Server (Site ID/Edge Server ID) in the drop-down list.
Select a logical reader in the Reader Name drop-down list.
Click OK.
Click the Refresh Icon in the upper left corner of the Read Tags table.
Tag data polling on the selected reader starts, displaying the results in the Read Tags data table. The data will refresh until you click the icon again, or click Clear or Cancel.
