About Delivered Roles

This topic describes the roles that are delivered with Pathways.

For information on how to create and delete custom Pathways roles and add portal users and groups to roles, see Managing Pathways Security.

The following table describes the roles that are delivered with Pathways:

Role	Description
Administrator	Has all capabilities. By default, the portal's Administrators group and Administrator user are members of Pathways' Administrator role.
Views Administrator	Has the Create Views and Prescribe Views capabilities. By default, there are no portal groups or users that are members of the Views Administrator role.
Everyone	Has the Access Enhanced UI, Add Favorites and Contacts, Add Tags, View Everyone's Tags, View My Tags, Save Searches, Set User Preferences, View People, and View Tags capabilities. By default, the Everyone portal group is a member of the Everyone role.
