About Pathways Administration
The Pathways Administration utility lets you manage all Pathways-related
administration tasks. It contains these pages:
- Tags tab/General page: Lets you create, restrict,
and delete tags. For details, see Working
with General Tag Administration.
- Tags tab/Auto-Tagging page: Lets you manage all
auto tag-related functionality. For details, see Administering
Auto Tags.
- Rank Factors tab/Rank Factors page: Lets you adjust
the relative influence that each ranking factor has on the ActivityRanks
of items and people. For details, see Tuning
Rank Factors.
- Rank Factors tab/Schedule And Status page: Lets
you schedule, start, and stop Rank Engine updates. For details, see Scheduling the Rank
Engine.
- Security page: Lets you add, edit, and delete
roles and manage the users that belong to these roles. For details, see

- UI Preferences tab/Defaults page: Lets you choose
the default selections that appear on the Pathways
