What's New 

BEA eLink for Mainframe TCP was formerly called BEA Connect TCP. The new name appears in text throughout the product documentation. However, the old Connect TCP name may appear in screen displays and code listing examples. Both names refer to the same product. Please bear with us while we update our documents, screens, and system messages completely with the new name.

This release of BEA eLink for Mainframe TCP includes the following new features:

Documentation Enhancements

This release of the product includes the following documentation enhancements:
  • A redesigned interface provides more direct access to topics.
  • An enhanced search applet to help you locate topics on the Documentation CD. You can now enter queries for strings that include periods "." and underscores "_". You can focus your searches by selecting the type of documents in which to search. In found documents, the search feature can highlight the keyword(s) you entered.
  • An updated Bookshelf, which provides PDF versions of the BEA eLink for Mainframe TCP documents.
