BEA eLink for Mainframe SNA was formerly called BEA Connect SNA. The new name appears in text throughout the product documentation. However, the old Connect SNA name may appear in screen displays and code listing examples. Both names refer to the same product. Please bear with us while we update our documents, screens, and system messages completely with the new name.

New in this release 

This release adds CICS/ESA InterSystem Communications (ISC) functions with transactional two-phase commit support, via the SNA LU6.2 protocol, to the Domains-based SNA gateway for Windows NT platforms. The software enables APPC/CPI-C applications, as delivered in BEA Connect SNA V1.2.

The software also delivers sync-level 2 protocol support as a keyed license upgrade feature for ISC DPL communications with Windows NT platforms.
