Notification Link

A notification link is a system-generated URL that you can send to recipients of your choosing.  The text body of the Notification Link tab includes two links:

• After clicking on the first link, the recipient is sent to the object from which you clicked Notify.

• After clicking on the second link, the system subscribes recipients to the object from which you clicked Notify. Once recipients are subscribed to the object, they receive notification e-mails when notification events occur on that object. For more information on the types of notification events that exist, see Notification Events.

• Click Create, which launches your default e-mail client. The body of the e-mail includes both notification links.  You can edit this e-mail before sending it.

• Copy and paste the notification link:

1. Select then copy the contents of the Notification Link text box by simultaneously pressing the CTRL (Control) key and C key on your keyboard.

2. Create a new e-mail in your desktop e-mail editor.

3. Paste the URL in your e-mail editor by simultaneously pressing the CTRL (Control) key and V key on your keyboard.

4. After you have sent the link, click Finish.
