If you are using Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows 2003, you can map a Network Place on your personal computer to the document hierarchy in Collaboration. This lets you use Microsoft Windows Explorer to navigate the document hierarchy in Collaboration. Folders and documents in Collaboration appear as folders and files in Windows Explorer. For more information about Web folders, see About Web Folders.
Tip: To view the changes you made to Windows Explorer in Collaboration, refresh the Document explorer.
To create a Web Folder:
New | Web
Folder. To map a Web folder in Windows 2000:
Click Finish.
A new network place is created and Collaboration is mapped on Windows
Explorer.
Note: Mapped Web folders should
not contain Windows folders whose names include the #
or : characters. Windows folder
names that include these characters appear incorrectly within Collaboration
projects.
To map a Web folder in Windows XP:
Click Finish.
