Portal Access

You can review and modify gateway information for the portal where Collaboration was installed and for other portals that have been granted access to Collaboration.

To edit the portal identifier and password of the portal where Collaboration was installed, change the settings in the Collaboration configuration file, config.xml. By default, it is installed in <PT_HOME>\ptcollab\4.1\settings\config, where <PT_HOME> is, by default, C:\Program Files\plumtree\ . For more information on the configuration file, see the Administrator Guide for BEAAquaLogic Interaction Collaboration.

The Owning Portal and Collaboration

Although several portals can share the same machine on which Collaboration is installed, the owning portal is the portal that you use to install and configure Collaboration.

Owning Portal Settings

Review and modify the gateway information for an owning portal. Unless there is a specific need to make changes on this page, you should choose the default option, Automatically capture value.

Before making any changes on this page, refer to the Administrator Guide for BEA AquaLogic Interaction Collaboration. If you feel you need to make changes to the settings sent to the portal gateway page, contact BEA Technical Support (support@plumtree.com).

Click Finish after you are done reviewing the following:
