Describes how to install and upgrade the components of AquaLogic
Interaction Content Service - Microsoft Exchange 5.2. |
- Microsoft Exchange Crawler Web Service has been renamed to AquaLogic Interaction
Content Service - Microsoft Exchange.
- AquaLogic Interaction Content Service - Microsoft Exchange 5.2 supports .NET
1.1 SP1.
Deployment
- The Microsoft Exchange Crawler Web Service installer re-points the
Exchange Outlook Web Access(OWA) IIS virtual directory to the Exchange CWS
installation folder if Exchange OWA is already installed on the Remote Server.
This issue can occur when the Plumtree Exchange 5.5 Portlet Suite and the
Exchange CWS are run on the same Remote Server. (Issue #36551)
- Plumtree Crawler Web Service for Microsoft Exchange does not support
Windows 2003 on the remote server. (Issue #37900)
Web Service
- Asian language messages that use HTML format for click-through may not appear
correctly. (Issue #36293)
- Date format of Received field in a plain text message is always in American
date format. (Issue #38105)
- If the Exchange account name is localized in a non-English language, the
Crawler Wizard may show question marks (?) in the account name. (Issue #38108)
- The ASP Script timeout for the Exchange IIS Virtual directory is set to
90 seconds. This setting may cause large crawls to timeout and fail. You can
fix this issue by increasing the ASP Script timeout for the Exchange virtual
directory. 300 seconds (5 minutes) works for most crawls. (Issue #38488)
- The Microsoft Exchange Crawler Web Service relies on a 4.5 version of the
Plumtree.dll and cannot be installed on the same machine as a 5.x Portal.
