The value of the property can be retrieved using IContentItem.getDoublePropertyValue(com.plumtree.remote.prc.content.property.IBaseProperty) and updated using IContentItem.setDoublePropertyValue(com.plumtree.remote.prc.content.property.IBaseProperty, double).
