Oracle BPM Administrator User

The Oracle BPM Administrator user is created via the Configuration Wizard when you create and configure the Directory Database. Each directory database has it's own Oracle BPM user/password. The information for this user is stored in the directory database.

The Oracle BPM Administrator can also grant administrative access to participants or groups within an Oracle BPM organization.

• Types of Oracle BPM Administrative Users
  There are two types of administrative users described in the following sections.
• Assigning Administrative Privileges to a Participant
  You can assign administrative privileges to a participant within an organization.
• Assigning Administrative Privileges to LDAP Groups
  Because Oracle BPM has read-only access to LDAP information, permissions for the Oracle BPM Administrator are not stored as part of the group or participant data within LDAP. To grant Oracle BPM Administration privileges to LDAP groups, you must add the permission information directly to the directory database.
• Enabling User Administration for a Participant
  You can allow a participant to manage other participants, including role and group assignments.
