Launch the Archive
Viewer using the Archive Viewer URL. The URL format is
http://hostname:8585/archivingviewer where
hostname is the name of the computer on which the BPM Web
Applications context is installed. The default port for ALBPM 6.0 Enterprise is
8686, as shown. However, your particular installation may be configured on a
different port. Check with your system administrator.
If no archive database configurations have been added to
the Archive Viewer, the
Database Configuration page appears, and you
should follow steps 2 through 6. Otherwise, if at least one database has been
configured, then the Archive Viewer login page appears, and you can go directly
to step 7.
On the
Database Configuration page, enter a name in the
Configuration Name field. This name will be
used to store the connection information for the archive database
Select the an
option from the
Database Type drop-down list. This should be
the same database type as you specified when adding the archive database
external resource in the Process Administrator.
Click
Next.
The
Database Configuration Properties page will
appear.
In the
Database Configuration Properties page, enter
the same properties for the archive database external resource that you entered
in the Process Administrator. If the properties are not entered as an exact
match of those stored in the Process Administrator, the Archive Viewer will be
unable to access the archive database.
Click
Next.
The Archive Viewer
Login page will appear.
In the Archive
Viewer login page, select the archive database configuration you want to
access, and click
Login.
The main Archive Viewer page will appear.
