ALBPM Administrator User

The ALBPM Administrator user allows ALBPM system administrators to login and perform administrative tasks using Process Administrator.

The ALBPM Administrator user is created via the Configuration Wizard when you create and configure the Directory Database. Each directory database has it's own ALBPM user/password. The information for this user is stored in the directory database.

The ALBPM Administrator can also grant administrative access to participants or groups within an ALBPM organization.

• Changing the ALBPM Administrator Password
  
• Assigning Administrative Priviledges to a Participant
  You can assign administrative priviledges to a participant within an organization.
• Assigning Administrative Priviledges to LDAP Groups
  Because ALBPM has read-only access to LDAP information, permissions for the ALBPM Administrator are not stored as part of the group or particpant data within LDAP. To grant ALBPM Administration priviledges to LDAP groups, you must add the permission information directly to the directory database.
• Enabling User Administration for a Participant
  You can allow a particpant to manage other particpants, including role and group assignments.
