Suspending Work Items

You can suspend a work item at the current activity so that nobody else can process it. The work item is then unavailable for processing until it is resumed.

To suspend a work item:

1. To display a list of work items, in the left pane, click a view name.

2. In the right pane, click the checkbox for the work item you want to suspend.

3. In the Work Item toolbar, click the Suspend Work Item button.

Note: The Suspend Work Item button is only available if it was enabled for the activity in the process design. In addition, you must have sufficient privileges to suspend the work item.
