If an exception occurs for a work item, you can send it back to the activity were it occurred, and continue processing it from that point.
To send a work item back to the previous activity:
To display a list of work items, in the left pane, click a view name.
In the right pane, click the checkbox for the work item you want to send back.
In the Work Item toolbar, click the Back Work Item button.
Note: The Back Work Item button is only available if an exception handler was included in the process design, and there was an exception that occurred for the work item.
