Work items are generated when a business process is initiated. Sometimes these processes are initiated automatically, outside of WorkSpace (perhaps by a Web-based sale submitted by a customer). Other times, business processes are initiated by a user in WorkSpace by running an application (to submit an expense report or a enter a phone order).
The applications available in WorkSpace depend on the process design, and the roles assigned to the user currently logged in.
To view applications:
In the left pane, click Applications. A list of applications is displayed in the right pane.
Note: Depending on how the Show Applications option has been configured in the Options dialog box, applications might be displayed in a toolbar at the top of the window or as a menu in the left pane.
