Creating a Local J2EE Application Server Service Endpoint

The Local J2EE Application Server service endpoint subtype is used when the process is deployed in a J2EE environment and the resources are located on the same application server.

To create a Local  J2EE Application Server service endpoint:

1. Access the Service Endpoints | Add Service Endpoint | Edit Service Endpoint endpoint_name page for the J2EE Application Server type and the Local J2EE subtype.

2. Enter the properties for the service endpoint:

• User Transaction Lookup Name - JNDI lookup name where the application can get the UserTransaction object.

3. Click Save.
