This J2EE Application Server service endpoint subtype is used when a process needs to connect to a different application server than the one where the process is deployed and running.
To create a J2EE Application Server service endpoint:
Access the Service
Endpoints | Add Service Endpoint | Edit Service Endpoint endpoint_name
page for the J2EE Application Server type and the same subtype.

Enter the properties
for the service endpoint:
The basic properties are:
Initial Context Factory - The class name of the JNDI initial context factory used to access the naming service where the home objects are deployed.
URL - The URL of the naming service provider.
Principal & Credentials - User and password that will be used at connection time.
The advanced property is:
User Transaction Lookup Name - JNDI lookup name where the application can get the UserTransaction object.
Click Save.
