The engine connector stores the user name and password for connecting to the ALBPM engine configured in Process Administrator.
To add a J2EE engine connector to WebSphere:
If the WebSphere server has not been started, choose Start | All Programs | IBM WebSphere | Application Server | Profiles | profile-name | Start the Server.
To launch the WebSphere Administrative Console, choose Start | All Programs | IBM WebSphere | Application Server | Profiles | profile-name | Administrative Console. You can also launch the console directly from a browser (http://host:port/ibm/console).
Enter your User ID and click Log in.
In the Administrative Console, in the left pane, click Security | Global Security.
In the right pane, on the Global Security page, under Authentication, click JAAS Configuration | J2C Authentication Data.
On the Global Security | J2EE Connector Architecture (J2C) Authentication Data Entries page, click New.
On the Global Security | J2EE Connector Architecture (J2C) Authentication Data Entries | New page, enter the following General Properties and click OK.

Enter a name for the J2EE engine connector (such as J2EE Engine Connector). |

Enter the User Name for the ALBPM engine as specified in Process Administrator. |

Enter the Password for the ALBPM engine as specified in Process Administrator. |

Enter an optional description for the J2EE connector. |
On the Global Security page, under Messages, click Save.
On the Global Security | J2EE Connector Architecture (J2C) Authentication Data Entries | Save page, click Save.
