Create the Engine Database and Database Structure

Once an engine has been created, its database and database structure must be created. The engine database is referenced by the server applications in WebSphere.

To create the engine database and database structure.

1. In the left pane of the Process Administrator, click Engines.

2. In the right pane, on the Engines page, click the engine Name.

3. On the Engines | Edit Engines engine-name page, click Manage Database.

4. On the Engines | Edit Engines engine-name | Manage Database page, select Create the database and Create the data structure.

5. Enter the User Name and Password for the database and click OK.

After the database has been created, the Engines | Edit Engine engine-name page displays the following messages:

• The database has been created.

• The data structure has been created.
