Add a JMS System Module to WebLogic

JMS system modules contain JMS resources such as queues, topics, and connection factories. The following procedure documents how to add a JMS system module to WebLogic.

To add a JMS system module to WebLogic:

    1. If the WebLogic server has not been started, choose Start | All Programs | BEA | User Projects | domain-name | Start Admin Server for WebLogic Server Domain.

    2. To launch the WebLogic Administration Console, choose Start | All Programs | BEA | User Projects | domain-name | Admin Server Console. You can also launch the console directly from a browser (http://host:port/console).

    3. Enter the administrator Username and Password and click Log In.

    4. In the left pane, in the Change Center section, click Lock & Edit.

    5. In the left pane, under Domain Structure, click Services | Messaging | JMS Modules.

    6. In the right pane, on the JMS Modules page, click New.

    7. On the Create JMS System Module page, enter a Name for the system module. Leave the other fields blank and click Next.

    8. Select the Server previously created in Add a JMS Server to WebLogic and click Next.

    9. Select Would you like to add resources to this JMS System Module and click Finish.

    10. In the Change Center section, click Activate Changes.
