SQL Server Database

Basic Settings

From the basic settings tab specify the server information and credentials required to connect to the SQL Server database.

Setting

Description

Database Host

The host name or IP address of the SQL Server database server.

Database Port

The port on the database host that SQL Server is listening to.

Organization Logical Name

The organization within AquaLogic BPM this directory will belong to. This can be any string.

Administrator User

A user with administrator access to SQL Server. This user must have permissions necessary to create a new schema.

Administrator Password

The password of the administrator user.

Database

  • When creating a new directory, enter a name for the database to be created.

  • When adding an existing directory, enter the name of the database already created.

Login Name

  • When creating a new directory, enter a name for the database user to be created.

  • When adding an existing directory, enter the name of the database user already created.

Login Password/Confirm Password

A password for the database user.

 

Advanced Settings

From the advanced settings tab the AquaLogic BPM administrative user can be specified. If no administrative user is specified in the advanced settings when creating a new directory, the database administrator user will be used.

Important: When adding an existing directory, the same administrative user specified when the directory was created must be entered.

  • When creating a new directory, enter a name for the administrative user to be created.

  • When adding an existing directory, enter the name of the administrative user that was specified when the directory was created.

Administrator Password/Confirm Password

The password for the administrative user.
