Add an Existing Directory

To connect to an existing AquaLogic BPM directory service:
  1. Open the Configuration Utility. From the AquaLogic BPM Enterprise Admin Center click Configuration.
  2. Click Add...
  3. Select the Use Existing Directory radio button. Click OK.
  4. Name the directory by typing a name into the Directory ID field.
  5. From the provider drop-down choose a database or LDAP.

    Note
    : Ensure that the JDBC driver type is appropriate for the database you are connecting to. For more information on supported drivers and databases, see the Interoperability Matrix on Product Center.
  6. Enter the same properties that were used to create the directory during the original AquaLogic BPM installation.

  7. Click Start.
  8. To confirm the directory was successfully added, highlight the directory and click the Check.. button from the Directory tab in the Configuration Utility.
