Selecting an IIOP or JDBC Connection

Use the IIOP Connection dialog or JDBC connection dialog to select an IIOP or JDBC connection.

Connection

Select an existing connection from the dropdown list, or click New to create a new connection.

Username

This read-only field displays the username for this connection. Click Edit to change the connection in any way.

Driver

This read-only field displays the package and classname of the JDBC driver for a JDBC connection. Click Edit to change the connection in any way.

URL

This read-only field displays the URL for the connection.

In the case of a JDBC connection, this includes driver type, host string, port, and SID.

In the case of an IIOP connection, this includes the host string, port, and SID.
