The Structure pane displays a structural analysis of the currently selected object in your open project.
For example, if you select an Entity Object, the Structure pane will show you structural information about that object, such as:
The files that make up the object, usually a .xml and a .java file
The attributes of the object
The keys that constrain the object
This structural analysis is displayed in the form of a hierarchical tree, much like a table of contents for the file.

Some of the objects have a context-sensitive menu that allows you to perform appropriate operations on the corresponding underlying object. Others allow you to select the object for viewing in the Viewer pane.
