After changing your business components with the Application Module Editor, you need to regenerate the makefiles:
In the Navigation pane, select your Project.
Select the Object | Generate Makefile menu item.
Note: If you have made any changes to the makefile, for example, added or changed targets, your changes will be overwritten. You should make a backup copy of your makefile before you use BCED to regenerate it.
Oracle8i CORBA Server
Oracle8i EJB Session Bean
For Oracle8i, you will need a JDBC connection and an IIOP connection. Both should connect to the same server and schema.
Oracle Application Server
For Oracle Application Server, you will need an HTTP connection and a Database Access Descriptor (DAD).
You need to define the connections for each target platform. If nothing is defined, click Browse.
The Connection panel is displayed. Select a connection to the database from the dropdown list. If no connections are defined or if you want to define a new connection, click Add:
The Connection Dialog is displayed, allowing you to define a connection to a database.
Click Test Connection to try out your connection. If the connection succeeds, click OK to dismiss the Connection Dialog.
Click Next to save your connection information.
Click OK to dismiss the Connection panel.
The connection will be defined in the box on the Generate Makefiles dialog. When you have completed defining connections, click OK.
BCED will regenerate the makefile.
