The File menu contains commands for creating and opening projects, closing and saving projects, and exiting BCED. Choose one of the following commands for more information.
Displays the New Project dialog. This allows you to name your business component project and its default package.
Displays the Open dialog box where you choose the name of an existing project to open.
Note: Although the Open dialog will allow you to select All Files (*) as well as Business Component Project files, it only accepts Business Component Projects (for example, Project1.jpx).
Closes the current project.
Closes BCED.
The Edit menu contains commands for editing your project. Choose one of the following commands for more information.
Removes the selected object. You must ensure that the object you select does not have any dependencies.
The Business Components System Properties wizard allows you to set the System Paths, set the Schema Default Options, and select the Framework Base Classes.
The Object Menu contains commands for modifying the currently selected object from the Navigation Pane. The commands listed in this menu are context-sensitive. These commands are the same as accessed directly from the objects in the Navigation Pane.
The Help Menu contains links to the on-line help system as well as the build and copyright information for BCED.
