Verifying That the Object Manager Is Enabled and Running

The object manager component (such as Marketing) to which you connect must be enabled and running on the Siebel Server. To verify this, perform the following task.

To verify that the Object Manager component is enabled and running

1. Log in to the Siebel Server.
2. Navigate to the Administration - Server Configuration screen, Servers, and then the Components view.
3. Query for the alias name, and make sure the component has a status of Online or Running.

   For example, the Marketing component for the English language version has an alias name of SMObjMgr_enu.
