Workshop Cheat Sheets

The following cheats sheets provide step-by-step instructions for common IDE tasks.

To open the cheat sheets listed below, select Help > Cheat Sheets. In the Cheat Sheet Selection dialog open the node Workshop. Select a cheat sheet from the list provided and click Ok.

Connect to a Database

This tutorial shows how to connect to a database using the DbXplorer.

To open this cheat sheet select Help > Cheat Sheets > Workshop> Connect to a Database > Ok.

Create the Client JAR for an EJB Project

This tutorial shows how to create a client JAR for an EJB Project.

To open this cheat sheet select Help > Cheat Sheets > Workshop> Create the Client JAR for an EJB Project > Ok.

NetUI Web Application: Hello World

This cheat sheet guides you through the creation of a simple NetUI web application.

To open this cheat sheet select Help > Cheat Sheets > Workshop> NetUI Web Application: Hello World > Ok.

Note: to run this cheat sheet you must first download and install WebLogic Server. For detailed instructions, see Download, Install, and Configure WebLogic Server.

Using XMLBeans

This tutorial shows how you can enable automatic generation of Java types from an XML schema by using the XMLBeans Builder facet.

To open this cheat sheet select Help > Cheat Sheets > Workshop> Using XMLBeans > Ok.
