Financial Message Designer, combined with the service integration capabilities
of Oracle Service Bus, provides a comprehensive solution that
enables financial institutions and corporations to build and manage a
flexible payments infrastructure using a SOA-based approach. The solution
provides interoperability with the SWIFT network and provides SWIFT message
libraries, customization capabilities for financial messages, mediation,
routing, network validation, and transformation capabilities.
Financial Message Designer is the design environment that allows you
to create and manage a cartridge, which is a model that captures message
formats, message mappings, and message flows. When a cartridge design
is complete, it is generated into platform specific code and deployed
into the Oracle Service Bus run time. The run time performs the transformations defined
by the cartridge.
