BEA AquaLogic Data Services Platform™ 2.1

ALDSP is a service-oriented solution that enables enterprise information to be delivered and accessed as data services. Using data services, organizations can deliver information in units that correspond to the logical business entities relevant to their domain, such as customers, orders, or products.

Data services encapsulate the logic for reading, writing, and transforming information, insulating data consumers from having to contend with multiple data source formats and connection mechanisms.

ALDSP provides the tools and frameworks necessary for rapid development and deployment of data services. A wide variety of client application types can access deployed data service functions.

Note: BEA AquaLogic Data Services Platform™ was originally named Liquid Data®. The documentation for this release generally uses the name Data Services Platform (ALDSP or DSP).
