SupportWeb allows you to download guides individually (PDF) or download an entire Siebel Bookshelf at once. For Version 7.5 and later, you can download the CHM (compiled HTML) version, the PDF version, or both versions of the Siebel Bookshelf.
Downloading the Siebel Bookshelf
You can install the Siebel Bookshelf on a client computer for local access or on a server for multiuser network access, as permitted under the applicable Siebel Systems software license agreement.
You can download the CHM (compiled HTML) version, the PDF version, or both versions of the Siebel Bookshelf. The downloaded files are provided as compressed (.zip) files (VerProdMonYrCHM.zip and VerProdMonYrPDF.zip). Both of the downloaded files extract into a root folder named SiebelBookshelf.
To download a Siebel Bookshelf
- In the SupportWeb window, in the left pane, click Product Documentation, then click the Siebel Bookshelf link.
- At the Siebel Bookshelf page, click the link for the version you want to download, save the compressed file, and extract it.
The folder/file structure of the Siebel Bookshelf depends on the version you download and extract, as shown below:

Downloading Individual PDF Guides
You can download the PDF version of an individual guide directly from the HTML version of a guide.
To download individual guides
- Go to the Individual Guides page and open the HTML version of the guide in your Web browser.
Note: You can also open a guide from any of the product line pages. - Click the PDF link in the top or bottom banner area of the topic page.
- If the PDF file appears in Acrobat Reader within a Web browser window, save the PDF by clicking the Save button on the Acrobat Reader toolbar.
To download individual PDF-only guides
- Go to the Individual Guides page.
- Click the PDF link next to the title of the guide.
- If the PDF file appears in Acrobat Reader within a Web browser window, save the PDF by clicking the Save button on the Acrobat Reader toolbar.
